bSpace

bSpace is a furniture line consisting of desks and workbenches. The intelligent construction of the frame allows for quick and easy assembly, flexible room layouts and the freedom to add accessories. In addition, the traverse, which is set inwards under the table top, prevents the swivel chair from colliding with it during work or when it is subsequently pushed under the table.

Technical description

1. Desks

Tabletop - Made of chipboard (MFC) coated with melamine on both sides, thickness 25 mm, with a 2 mm edge using adhesive technology. Available tabletop shape – rectangular. Table tops available in different dimensions. Round, rectangular cutouts for cable outlets and media ports are optionally available as an integral part of the product in various variants and configurations and do not have to be ordered separately.

I-foot frame Leg construction – welded from a steel profile with a cross section of 40 × 40 mm. Frame - truss made of steel profile with a cross section of 40 × 30 mm. Surface finish: – Legs powder-coated in Traffic white (RAL 9016), Jet black (RAL 9005), White aluminum (RAL 9006), Slate gray (RAL 7015), – Crossbar always powder-coated in Jet black (RAL 9005).

Height – 740mm as standard. Leveling in the range of 10 mm (levelling glides). Manual height adjustment - in the range of 740 - 860 mm.

Assembly and packaging height – Partially assembled, cardboard packaging (PACK-A) – traverse mounted on the table top, other elements intended for assembly. Note: Accessories (e.g. media port, panel, cable duct) are packed separately in boxes.

2. Workbench workstations

I-foot frame

Workbench workstation for two employees External legs - welded, made of steel profile with a section of 40 × 40 mm. Frame - trusses made of steel profile with a cross section of 40 × 30 mm.

Workbench workplace for four and six employees External legs - welded, made of steel profile with a section of 40 × 40 mm. Central legs - welded, made of steel profile with a cross section of 40 × 40 mm, leg crossbars made of steel profile with a cross section of 80 × 50 mm. Table legs set back 400 mm from the edge of the table top. Frame - trusses made of steel profile with a cross section of 40 × 30 mm.

Workbench workstation, extension (for integration with Workbench workstation for 2 or 4 employees) Central legs - welded, made of steel profile with a cross section of 40 × 40 mm, leg cross members made of steel profile with a cross section of 80 × 50 mm. Table legs set back 400 mm from the edge of the table top. Frame - trusses made of steel profile with a cross section of 40 × 30 mm. Surface finish: – Legs powder-coated in Traffic white (RAL 9016), Jet black (RAL 9005), White aluminum (RAL 9006), Slate gray (RAL 7015), – Crossbars always powder-coated in Jet black (RAL 9005).

3. Cable outlets and media ports

Cable outlets – made of plastic in the colors aluminum (AU), white (W) or black (B). Available for all desk tops and workbench workstations. Cable passage dimensions: 90 × 90 mm. Dimensions of the cut-out: Ø 80 mm. Rectangular Cable Gland with Brush Seal - Made of aluminium, powder coated in aluminum (AL), white (WH) or black (BL). Available for desks and workbench workstations. Cable passage dimensions: 300 × 130 mm. Dimensions of the cut-out: 280 × 110 mm. Media port - POWERDOT 1M - in the color white or black. Note: further details on the position of the cable outlets in the matrix of possible combinations are available.

4. Panels

Panels for desks - Screening panel, upholstered – structure made of 8 mm thick chipboard, to which 8 mm thick soft fiber boards are attached on both sides, covered with fabric and usable as a pin board. Panel, thickness 24 mm, upper corners of the panel rounded in 50 mm radius. Mounting with metal brackets screwed directly to the table top. The padded panel is inserted into the U-shaped bracket. Privacy Panel, Felt - Manufactured from thermoformed felt in Light Gray or Dark Gray colour. Panel, thickness 24 mm, upper corners of the panel rounded in 40 mm radius. Mounting screwed directly to the tabletop using metal brackets. The felt screen panel is used in U-mounts. Bracket finishes: powder coated in Traffic white (RAL 9016), Jet black (RAL 9005), White aluminum (RAL 9006), Slate gray (RAL 7015).

Organization rail attached to padded privacy panel - Made of two metal bars, diameter Ø 10 mm, with metal supports, thickness 4 mm. Accessories that are hung on the organizer rail must be ordered separately. Bracket finishes: powder coated in Traffic white (RAL 9016), Jet black (RAL 9005), White aluminum (RAL 9006) or Slate gray (RAL 7015).

5. Cable management

Horizontal cable ducts

Can be folded down on both sides – made of sheet steel, 1 mm thick, powder-coated in the following colors: Traffic white (RAL 9016), jet black (RAL 9005), white aluminum (RAL 9006), slate gray (RAL 7015). Mounting directly on the table top using special plastic brackets.

Vertical cable channels

Mesh - made of black OP Mesh with a zipper. Mounting directly on the tabletop using plastic brackets. Flexible - made of plastic in the color aluminium, black or transparent. Mounting directly on the table top.
